Our recently renovated restaurant and dining area features a romantic and eclectic atmosphere with our in dining room kitchen and elevated deck as the focus, over looking the beautiful blue Caribbean. Established in March of 2003, Le Bistro was designed with concepts of Euro-Caribbean Fusion Cuisine. Our Chef's background in French and Italian cuisine fuses the freshest local seafood, meats and produce available in Belize and features mostly an all sauté menu with individual custom plate presentations. Soup

Crème de Tomato y Basil

Cream of tomato soup with sautéed minced onion and basil chiffonard. Rich, creamy and elegant.

Appetizers

Shrimp Cocktail

Succulent shrimps served ice cold with red horseradish sauce and wedges of lime.

Portofino Insalata con Gamberetti

Our house salad with our Margarita dressing, accompanied by 2 large shrimps.

Seafood Panache

Two fresh baked garlic toast rounds topped with slices of our baked Caribbean seafood mousse and roasted red pepper coulis. Tantalizing flavors to start your culinary adventure.

Bleu Beef

Beef tenderloin tail sautéed in bleu cheese and herb dip and laced with cognac.

Coconut Caribbean Newburg

The traditional shrimp and scallop Newburg, with a taste of the tropics. Made with coconut cream and served in a fresh baked pastry shell.

Featured Dinner Entrees

Lobster A la Ritz

A dish derived from one of our chefs. This entrée had performed at the Ritz-Carlton. A blend of shrimp and lobster cream sauce served on a bed of linguine and topped with sautéed lobster, flambéed in fine whiskey. Very rich, elegant and decadent.

Lobster Thermidor

Diced lobster sautéed in garlic, sherry wine and in a Newburg sauce. Topped with parmesan cheese, served with herb rice and vegetables of the day.

Seafood Platter

A combination of lobster, fish fillet, shrimp and scallops sautéed and served with rice and vegetables. Complemented with garlic butter sauce, and wedges of lime.

Penne Pollo Alfredo

Diced tender chicken breast and fresh tomatoes sautéed and finished with a Penne Alfredo.

Fillet de Boef Onions Caramellisee

Twin medallions of beef, pan fried in butter and caramelized onions with a hind of garlic and au jus finish! Roasted garlic mashed potatoes and house vegetables of the day complement this hearty cut of heaven.

Pineapple Picante Pork Tenderloin

Lime cilantro marinated medallions slowly roasted and served with a spicy pineapple salsa and rice.

Pan-seared Crusted San Pedro Snapper

Fresh snapper fillet, filled with scallops and julienne vegetables, crusted with herbs and delicately pan seared to perfection and topped with fresh hollandaise sauce. Served with rice.

Spider Crab-laced Snapper

Delectable combination for Blue Caribbean Spider Crab rolled with snapper fillet and massed by a tomato cream glace. Originally an occasional special…our guests demanded we include this as one of our standard menu items.

Champagne Herb Snapper

Paprika pan-seared snapper fillet topped with a heavenly light champagne, herb and cream finish. Served with rice and house vegetables.

Shrimp Kebab

Charbroiled assortment of vegetables and succulent shrimp on a skewer. Served with rice and house vegetables.

Linguine Caribe

A sauté of parsley and butter, fused with roasted red peppers julienne, shrimps and scallops and flambéed in white vermouth, finished with a splash of cream and completed on a bed of linguine.

Desserts

Bananas Foster

The New Orleans Classic with Portofino style.
Sautéed Banana in a light caramel sauce, flambéed in crème de banana and served over vanilla ice cream and garnished with chocolate syrup.

Completely Cacao

Chocolate fudge cake on a bed of chocolate glace laced with crème de cacao and served with vanilla ice cream.
As you can see, our chef is chocoholic.

Rum Cream Caramel Apple

Apples sautéed in butter, cinnamon, sugar and dark rum cream sauce, served over vanilla custard.

Frozen Tropical Tundra

Our mile high, frozen key lime pie. When the weather is hot, our pie is not! A refreshing happy ending.

Vanilla Ice Cream

Two Scoops of delicious vanilla flavored ice cream, topped with chocolate syrup and a cherry.
