Okay, I’ve traveled to many destinations, twice to Belize and I must say I’ve never experienced such exceptional service and the employees are the key to all great vacations. With that said, my travel companion, Vicki (see above) made me smile and gave me a heart warming experience that made this a life memory.

My stay here was fantastic, I will definitely be back to Portofino. The service and hospitality was far the best I’ve had in any hotel I’ve stayed at. The staff couldn’t be better. Food – fantastic!

We’ve stayed at several places here in Belize, but el Portofino es el major. The service was warm and friendly, the drinks were good and strong, and the mosquitos were slow! We really hope to see you again for one of these Christmases soon! Thanks again for making us feel at home.
PS. Give Mo a raise! Everyone here works hard, but Mo is without a doubt the hardest working man we have ever seen!
